Chenani

Chenani is a small town in Udhampur district  in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. During Dogra rule, it was one of the most important state of the kingdom.

Chenani is located at 33.03°N 75.28°E at a distance of 30 km of Udhampur District Headquarters. It has an average elevation of 1,062 metres.. River Tawi flows through Chenani town.

Chenani is famous for its ancient temples and Kaladis. Chenani is the gateway to famous Sudhmahadev, Gaurikund and Mantalai shrines that can be reached by bus or taxi from Chenani.
